Rob M. Michelsen has a strong background in the insurance industry, with extensive experience in sales and marketing. Rob M. began their career at Farmers Insurance in 1984, where they served as an Insurance Agent and District Sales Manager. During their time there, they achieved remarkable results, including transforming the district's profit-loss ratio and improving sales production. Michelsen significantly contributed to the growth and success of the district, increasing revenue, expanding the number of agencies, and driving market share. In 2007, they joined Summit Alliance Companies as President, Vice President, and Sales Operations, where they built an independent agency from scratch and led the company through the economic crisis of 2008-2009. Currently, they hold the position of Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing at CP Insurance Associates.
Rob M. Michelsen holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from The University of Texas at Arlington - College of Business. Rob M. also has additional certifications including Agency Management Training Course (AMTC) from LIMRA, General Lines Life Accident & Health and General Lines Property & Casualty from the Texas Department of Insurance, Life Underwriting Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) from NAIFA, Managing General Agents License from the Texas Department of Insurance, and Surplus Lines Insurance Broker License, Individual from the Texas Department of Insurance.
