Michael Mirabella

Michael Mirabella has extensive work experience in various educational and community roles. Currently, they are working as the Assistant Principal at Long Valley Middle School in the Washington Township Public Schools, starting in November 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Berkeley Heights Community Pool at the Summit Area YMCA from 2017. Michael also worked as an American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor at the American Red Cross Training Services since 2012. Before that, they held the position of Visual Caption Head at Berkeley Heights Public Schools starting in 2007. Lastly, they worked as a Secondary School Teacher at Springfield Public Schools from 2012 until November 2021.

Michael Mirabella holds a Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from Montclair State University, which they obtained from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Education from Monmouth University from 2007 to 2011. In addition to their academic qualifications, Michael obtained certifications such as the American Red Cross Lifeguard Safety Instructor from the American Red Cross in March 2019, and a K-12 Social Studies Instructor certification from the State of New Jersey in January 2011. Michael also possesses a Principal Certificate and Supervisor certification from the State of New Jersey, although the specific dates of when they obtained these certifications are unknown.
