Karen Malmoe

Karen Malmoe is an experienced professional with a diverse background in education, catering, floral design, human resources, and volunteer work. Since December 1999, Karen has served as a snowboard instructor at Summit at Snoqualmie, focusing on adult learners. Concurrently, Karen has worked as a catering specialist for ARAMARK since May 1997, excelling in bartending and catering in high-volume environments. As a freelance floral designer for KarMal since June 1987, Karen manages floral arrangements for weddings and corporate events. Previous roles include HR coordinator at CleanScapes Inc, Peace Corps Response Volunteer and Environmental Volunteer, queue announcer at Microsoft, research assistant at Washington State University, and radio station manager at Washington State University. Karen holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Horticulture with a Minor in Broadcast Communications from Washington State University and additional education from the University of Washington.
