Jeffrey Skaare has a diverse work experience in the oil and gas industry, with a particular focus on land, legal, and regulatory affairs. Jeffrey currently holds the position of Director of Land, Legal, and Regulatory Affairs at Summit Carbon Solutions since August 2021.
Before that, Skaare was the owner of Dakota Raynemakers, Inc., where they utilized their legal expertise in oil and gas development. Jeffrey held this role from January 2007 till the present.
Furthermore, Skaare was also an owner of B.H. Grace Oil, LLC and O.T. Cross Oil, LLC, both from December 2010 till the present.
Skaare's career also includes positions at First International Bank & Trust as a Business Development | Landman from November 2020 to August 2021 and at Citizen Minerals, LLC as the Vice President of Business Development from May 2020 to November 2020.
Additionally, Skaare served as the Director of Operations and Operations Manager at Caliber Midstream from February 2018 to May 2020 and from March 2016 to February 2018, respectively. Jeffrey was also the Surface Land Manager at Caliber Midstream from November 2013 to January 2016.
Earlier in their career, Skaare worked as an Attorney at Skaare Law Offices from May 2004 to January 2016, and as a Business Owner at Border Resources, LLC from June 2008 to November 2013.
Jeffrey Skaare began their education in 1992 at Dickinson State University, where they pursued studies in an undeclared field. After completing their time at Dickinson State University in 1993, they moved on to North Dakota State University, where they earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration and Management, General in 1997. Following their undergraduate studies, Skaare attended the University of North Dakota from 1997 to 2000, where they obtained their Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree specializing in Law. Additionally, they hold a certification as a Certified Professional Landman from the AAPL (American Association of Professional Landmen), although the specific date of obtaining this certification is unavailable.
