Nute Thompson

Nute Thompson has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Their most recent position is as the Director of Legal Affairs at Summit Design and Engineering Services, starting in September 2022. Prior to this, Nute worked as an Associate Attorney at Jordan Price Wall Gray Jones & Carlton, PLLC from August 2020 to September 2022. They also served as the Articles and Notes Editor at the North Carolina Banking Institute Journal from August 2019 to April 2020. Additionally, Nute held internships at the Supreme Court of North Carolina, the North Carolina Court of Appeals, and the North Carolina General Assembly. They were also a Research Assistant at North Carolina State University and worked as a Strategist at YI Advisors.

Nute Thompson's education history began in 2013 when they attended Wake Technical Community College. During this time, they pursued a general education degree with a focus on general studies. After completing their studies at Wake Technical Community College, Thompson went on to North Carolina State University from 2014 to 2016. At North Carolina State, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government. Most recently, from 2017 to 2020, Thompson attended the University of North Carolina School of Law. Nute earned their Doctor of Law - JD degree during this period.
