Robert Irving

Robert Irving has a diverse work experience that includes roles such as Regional Vice President at Summit Fire & Security, Investor at Aggie Angel Network, and Co-Founder of Better StayCations. Robert also founded Better Fire Protection in 2018 and grew the company to over 50 employees before it was successfully acquired. Robert has also worked as a Fire Sprinkler Instructor at Fire Tech Productions, Inc., a Fire Protection Engineer at American Fire Protection Group, Inc., and a Safety Officer/Lab Coordinator at Texas A&M University College of Engineering, among other roles. Robert has a strong background in fire protection and has also been involved in product invention and business development.

Robert Irving has a diverse education history. Robert obtained a Master's degree in Occupational Safety and Health from Texas A&M University, starting in 2014 and finishing in 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Development from the same university, specializing in Business Administration and Management, General, from 2010 to 2014. In addition to their degrees, Robert also completed a Technical program in Fire Science/Fire-fighting at Texas A&M University in 2012. Before attending Texas A&M, they obtained an Associate's degree in Accounting and Finance from Blinn College, studying from 2010 to 2012.

In terms of additional certifications, Robert earned a Private Aircraft Pilot certificate from the Federal Aviation Administration in July 2021. Robert also obtained a Fire Sprinkler Responsible Managing Employee (RME-G) certification from the Texas Department of Insurance in December 2018. Furthermore, they hold a Leadership certification from FMI acquired in June 2018, and a Backflow Prevention and Cross Connection Control Inspector/Tester certification from TCEQ Compliance Service obtained in February 2018.
