Joseph Sobocinski is a Staff Attorney at Summit Legal Aid since July 2023 and has been serving as a Staff Attorney at Southwestern Pennsylvania Legal Aid since May 2018, focusing on assisting victims of domestic violence in obtaining Protection From Abuse Orders in Common Pleas Court in Washington and Greene counties. Prior to these roles, Joseph Sobocinski retired in May 2018 after an extensive career at the Federal Bureau of Investigation, where involvement included conducting criminal investigations and prosecutions from July 1984 to December 2017. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law (1981-1984) and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Saint Francis University, Loretto, PA (1976-1980).
