Matthew Stegman

Matthew Stegman is a Maryland Staff Attorney at the Chesapeake Bay Foundation since December 2022, previously serving as the Director of Fiscal and Legislative Services for the City of Baltimore and as the Deputy Director in the Mayor's Office of Government Relations. Stegman possesses extensive experience in fiscal management, legislative analysis, and political campaign strategy, having held key positions in the Maryland General Assembly, including Chief of Staff for the House Appropriations Committee. Additional campaign roles include Campaign Manager for Citizens for Maggie McIntosh and Field Director for multiple electoral initiatives. Stegman holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and English from The Ohio State University.
