Denise Jenison

Volunteer Photographer at Summit Metro Parks

Denise Jenison, PhD, currently serves as a Volunteer Photographer for Summit Metro Parks since August 2023 and has been a Case Manager at Nurenberg, Paris, Heller & McCarthy since January 2019. Previously, Denise volunteered as a Grant Writer for Necessities for Children from August 2021 to August 2022 and worked as a Consultant from 2007 to August 2020, providing support in Human Resources, Public Relations, and Corporate Affairs with a focus on corporate social responsibility. Denise's prior experience includes roles as a Legal Assistant/Paralegal at Caryn Groedel and Associates from October 2015 to November 2018, and as an Instructor at Kent State University from 2009 to May 2018, along with teaching World Civilizations: Middle East at The University of Akron from 2013 to December 2014. Educationally, Denise holds a Ph.D. in History from Kent State University, an M.A. in History from the same institution, and a Bachelor's Degree in History and International Relations from Carroll University.
