Roger Erdvig has a strong background in education and leadership roles. Roger is currently working as the Senior Director of Worldview Education at Summit Ministries since July 2023. Prior to this, they held positions as an Adjunct Professor and Doctoral Mentor at Columbia International University starting in March 2020 and as a Qualitative Research Methodologist at Liberty University starting in January 2020. Roger also worked as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Valley Forge starting in August 2017. Roger served as the Headmaster at Wilmington Christian School from July 2017 to July 2023. Roger was the Superintendent at Smithtown Christian School from August 2009 to June 2017 and was responsible for traditional Head of School responsibilities. Before that, they co-founded and served as President of the Center for Coaching Excellence from December 2006 to August 2009. Roger has also held leadership positions in various churches and worked as a lead carpenter and partner at Four Square Construction from June 1995 to December 2002.
Roger Erdvig obtained a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree in Teaching and Learning from Liberty University, where they studied from 2011 to 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Education degree in Leadership Development from Regent University, attending from 2003 to 2006. Their undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Bible with a focus on Pastoral Studies, was obtained from the University of Valley Forge, where they studied from 1987 to 1990. Additionally, Erdvig has acquired several certifications including being a Superintendent, obtained from the Association of Christian Schools International in September 2011. Roger also became a Certified Leadership Coach Trainer through LifeForming Leadership Coaching in May 2006 and was ordained as a Minister by the Fellowship of Christian Assemblies in July 1997.
