Mixie von Bormann

Mixie von Bormann has extensive experience as an Art Director, working for various companies including Future plc, NewBay Media, Summit Professional Networks, Freelance/Graphic Design Services, Moffly Publications, Backstage, and The Hollywood Reporter. Mixie has been responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and implementing the vision for publications, as well as managing freelancers and overseeing all aspects of the design process. Mixie has also handled the duties of Art Director in the absence of senior personnel and has successfully contributed to the layout and design of weekly and special features. Mixie has a range of skills in photography, illustration, and editorial design, and has demonstrated creativity and strong leadership abilities throughout their career.

Mixie von Bormann completed their Baccalaureate/Matriculation degree at Brescia House from 1976 to 1990. Mixie then pursued higher education at the University of Johannesburg from 1990 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Fine Arts & Design.
