Anthony Wong

Anthony Wong is the Vice President, Lead Reinsurance Underwriter at Summit Re. Anthony has over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry.

Anthony started their career in 1990 as a Senior Underwriter at MetLife where they performed underwriting functions for Medical, Dental, Life, AD&D, and Vision coverages. In 1995, they left MetLife to become an Underwriting Consultant at Health Net. At Health Net, Anthony performed financial and underwriting functions for the Special and National Accounts Department. Anthony left Health Net in 1996 to join Summit Re.

At Summit Re, Anthony is responsible for leading a team of underwriters who provide reinsurance coverage for property and casualty insurers. Anthony is an expert in underwriting and risk management, and they have helped Summit Re become one of the leading reinsurance providers in the United States.

Anthony Wong studied statistics at the University of California, Berkeley and earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree.

Their manager is Rick Lassow, Vice President, Lead Reinsurance Underwriter. They work with Linh Le - Actuarial Assistant, Larry Jackson - Vice President, Lead Reinsurance Underwriter, and Tom Hammersten - Assistant Vice President, Lead Insurance Underwriter.
