Brent Buchberger

Brent Buchberger has a diverse work experience in the engineering and renewable energy sectors. Brent started as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Motorola Mobile Devices in 2002 and later served as a Manufacturing Specialist at Toyota Engineering & Manufacturing America. Brent then transitioned to roles at Sargent & Lundy, LLC, and First Solar, gaining experience in project management and engineering oversight. Prior to their current position as Vice President at Summit Ridge Energy, they worked at ENGIE Distributed Solar as a Project Development Manager, focusing on developing solar projects and cultivating relationships. Throughout their career, Brent has demonstrated expertise in engineering, project management, and renewable energy development.

Brent Buchberger earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2006. Brent later obtained a Professional Science Masters in Solar Energy Engineering & Commercialization from Arizona State University in 2015. Additionally, Brent participated in international programs in engineering at Technische Universität Darmstadt.
