Miles Q. Braxton has a diverse work experience primarily focused on renewable energy, risk management, and environmental sustainability. Miles Q. has held roles such as Co-Founder at a nonprofit empowering Black professionals in the environmental field, Director of Risk Management at Summit Ridge Energy, and various positions at Goldman Sachs, Sol Systems, and more. Miles has also been involved in educational initiatives as a Robotics Instructor and has interned at the U.S. Department of Energy and the Department of Energy & Environment, working on solar energy projects and initiatives.
Miles Q. Braxton completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Environmental Science at the University of Virginia from 2014 to 2018. Miles Q. further pursued a certificate in Financing and Deploying Clean Energy at Yale University from 2019 to 2020. Prior to their university studies, Miles obtained a certificate in Mandarin Language and Chinese Coastal Culture from Beijing Normal University, Zhuhai in 2014. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications such as "Funding Your Climate Startup" from Maven Course by Chris Wedding in 2022 and "RIMS Professional Member" from RIMS in February 2022.
