Ken Byrd

Director of Operations - CTS at Summit Technology

Ken Byrd has worked in the IT field for over 20 years. In 1996, they began their career as a Field Engineer at Delta Technology, where they were responsible for the implementation and support of desktop devices, applications, peripherals, telephone systems, network devices, airline specific equipment, and multiple server platforms. In 2006, they moved to IM Flash Technologies as a Field Service Engineer, where they were responsible for the implementation and support of desktop devices, applications, and peripherals. In 2009, Ken joined MonaVie as a Technical Support Engineer, providing technical help and training for all employees on computers, peripherals, printers, software, and systems used in the MonaVie Corporate environment. In 2011, they moved to MonaVie, Inc. as a Systems Administrator, managing the Microsoft Exchange 2007 Server and related environments, as well as a Windows Server/Active Directory environment. Finally, in 2014, Ken became the Director of Operations - CTS and Systems Team Lead at Summit Technology LLC, where they were responsible for the direct support, administration, maintenance, and building of applications and systems infrastructures.

Ken Byrd obtained a B.A.S. in Electronics Engineering Technology from ITT Technical Institute between 1994 and 1996. Ken also holds several certifications, including Office 365: Outlook Essential Training from LinkedIn obtained in October 2018, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate from Microsoft obtained in November 2021, and Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) from Microsoft.
