David Carpenter

David Carpenter is a Senior Patent Counsel/Head of Intellectual Property at Summit Therapeutics, Inc. David previously held positions as a Senior Director at BeiGene, a Patent and Licensing Attorney at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research, a Patent Attorney at Bozicevic, Field & Francis LLP, and a Patent Agent at Genentech. With a Ph.D. in Molecular genetics/cell biology from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, an MBA in Finance/Marketing from Xavier University, and a BS in Microbiology/chemistry from Miami University, David has a strong educational background to support their career in intellectual property law and biochemistry research.
