Leon Killin 🏳‍🌈 has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and positions. Leon is currently the Head of Inclusion & Belonging at Sumo Group, where they have been working since January 2023. Prior to this role, they were the EDI Manager at Sumo Group from July 2021 until January 2023. In addition to their work at Sumo Group, Leon is a BAFTA Connect Member since October 2022.

Before joining Sumo Group and BAFTA, Leon founded and advised at Balance Patch since August 2019. Leon has also worked as a Freelance Writer since September 2011.

Leon has previous experience in the field of education, having worked at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) as a Senior Engagement, Communications & Community Manager from December 2018 to March 2020. Leon also held various positions at Goldsmiths, University of London, including Senior Client Communications and Engagement Officer, Hate Crime Reporting Project Manager, and Senior Client Communications Officer (Student Services) between 2015 and 2018.

Furthermore, Leon has served as the Engagement & Events Officer (Welfare & Diversity) at Goldsmiths Students' Union from June 2011 to June 2014.

Early in their career, Leon worked at Gamestation as a Senior Sales Representative/Seasonal Staff Manager from June 2004 to March 2013.

Leon Killin 🏳‍🌈 obtained a Master's degree in Sexual Dissidence (English & Global Studies) from the University of Sussex in 2014-2015. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Social & Cultural Studies from Goldsmiths, University of London, from 2010 to 2013. Their education history also includes a Foundation degree in Psychology from Goldsmiths, University of London in 2009-2010.
