Melissa Liton

Melissa Liton has over fifteen years of experience in public relations and communications. Melissa is currently the Director of Communications at Sumo Logic, a cloud-native machine data analytics platform provider. Melissa previously served as the Director of Global Communications for Qualys, and before that, as the Senior Communications Advisor for Dell's Software Group.

Liton has a proven track record in developing and executing successful PR and AR programs at both the global and regional levels. Melissa is an expert in media and analyst relations, thought leadership, content development, and customer advocacy. Under their leadership, the customer reference program at Dell significantly expanded through the development of case studies, videos, and the launch of a pilot advocacy platform.

Liton began their career in 2000 as a Senior Account Executive at Kulesa Faul. Melissa then moved to Weber Shandwick in 2007, where they managed a group of accounts before leaving to join Communiqué PR as an Account Director in 2008. Melissa remained at Communiqué until 2011 when they joined Dell.

Melissa Liton graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism and a Minor in Public Relations from Emerson College. Melissa is certified in The Six Morning Habits of High Performers from LinkedIn.
