Stefan Jeschonnek is the Co-Founder at SumUp. Stefan has over 10 years of experience in the startup industry and has held leadership positions at various companies.

Stefan started their career as a software engineer and quickly transitioned into management and leadership roles. Stefan co-founded their first startup, Zeitgold, in 2012 which was acquired by Deel in 2019. Stefan then went on to co-found SumUp, a mobile point-of-sale company, in 2013.

Under Stefan's leadership, SumUp has become one of the leading fintech companies in Europe with over 3 million customers in 30 countries. The company is headquartered in London with offices in Berlin, Sofia, and San Francisco.

Stefan Jeschonnek has a MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from University of St.Gallen. Stefan also studied at University of Deusto.
