David Funk

David Funk serves as the Global Technical Service Manager for Pigments for Cosmetics at Sun Chemical since January 2022, overseeing technical and regulatory aspects of the color cosmetic ingredients business. Prior experience includes a tenure at BASF from 2006 to 2021 in various roles, such as Account Manager for the cosmetic effect pigment portfolio, Director of Business Development, and Global Lead for Regulatory and Technical Service in personal care. David began a career in environmental regulation at the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, preceded by an R&D position at Engelhard Corporation. Academic credentials include an MBA from the University of Connecticut School of Business and a BS in Chemistry from The University of Texas at Austin.
