Rod Staveley, B.Eng, MBA, C.Dir has held several key roles throughout their career. Starting in 1990, they worked as an Account Representative at Eastman Chemical Company until 1994. Following this, from 1994 to 1998, they served as Product Manager-Colorants at Creanova/Evonik/Degussa. In 1998, they joined Sun Chemical Canada where they took on various sales and sales management roles until 2000. From 2000 to 2002, they became the Industry Manager - Coatings at Sun Chemical Canada. In 2002, Rod was promoted to General Manager, Global Specialties Business Unit at Sun Chemical Canada, a position in which they substantially increased operating income, developed a high-performing team, and negotiated international supply and licensing agreements. From 2007, they served as President of Sun Chemical Canada, taking on the responsibility of spearheading the business development strategy for a new multimillion-dollar BU and co-authoring an approved patent. Overall, Rod Staveley has gained extensive experience and accomplishments in the chemical industry throughout their career.

Rod Staveley holds an MBA in Marketing and International Business from McMaster University. Rod also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the same university. Additionally, Staveley completed the Directors College program at the DeGroote School of Business, McMaster University, earning the designation of Chartered Director (C. Dir.).
