Blair Dowden

Blair Dowden's work experience includes various roles in the education sector. From 1974 to 1991, they worked at Taylor University in positions such as Admissions Counselor, Director of Financial Aid, Director of Testing, and Special Assistant to the President. From 1984 to 1991, they worked as the Vice President for Development at Houghton College. In 1991, they became the President of Huntington University, serving in that role until 2013, after which they became President Emeritus. Blair also held roles as Senior Affiliate at Credo - Higher Education Consulting starting in 2015, Affiliate at Ardeo Education Solutions/LRAP Enrollment Management Tools from 2015 to 2020, and Executive Director - Higher Education Division at Sun FundED starting in 2018. Subsequently, Dowden continued their education at Ball State University and obtained a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration from 1978 to 1981.
