Sam Kaplan

Sam Kaplan is a seasoned finance professional and entrepreneur, currently serving as the Founder of SHK Financial since September 2018, providing fractional CFO and accounting services to startups and growing businesses. With extensive experience as a Fractional COO and Financial Controller at One Inc Cooperative since January 2020, Kaplan also held the position of Fractional Financial Controller at Pineapple Inc. from September 2018 to December 2019. Previously, Kaplan was the Financial Controller for LabelDaddy and Legacy Licensing Partners, significantly contributing to the development of licensed products and school labels. Early career roles include teaching financial and managerial accounting at California State University, Fresno, as well as instructing chess and piano, reflecting a diverse skill set. Kaplan holds dual Bachelors of Science degrees in Business Administration (Accountancy Option) and Music from California State University, Fresno.
