Melanie Durant

Melanie Durant is an experienced finance professional currently serving as General Manager at Sun International since March 2021, after previously holding the position of Finance Manager. Prior to this role, Melanie worked at GWK Beperk/Limited from March 2017 to March 2021 as Business Partner Finance for the Manufacturing Division and Specialist Manager Finance. Melanie also has experience as Finance Manager at Steinbuild from January 2016 to February 2017 and as Associate Manager: Finance at Clinvet from January 2011 to January 2016. The career began as an Audit Trainee at Newtons Chartered Accountants from March 2008 to December 2010. Melanie holds a B.COM. Honours in Accounting and a B.Accounting from the University of the Free State, completed in 2008 and 2004 respectively. Melanie completed secondary education at Eunice High from 1995 to 2003.
