James Watt

James Watt is a seasoned professional in the solar power industry, currently serving as the PV Superintendent at Sun Light & Power since September 2016. In this role, James reviews project contracts and designs while coordinating installation details with various stakeholders. Previously, James held positions including Foreman at SunEdison and Field Operations Manager for California, where responsibilities included training authorized installers and developing contractor partnerships. As the Founder and General Manager of Powertec, James designed and installed extensive solar PV systems across Northern California. James has also worked as a Commercial Project Engineer at BP Solar, Sales/Sales Manager at SPG Solar, and has experience in freight forwarding and writing. Educational background includes studies at San Francisco State University and a Professional Spanish Language School.
