Kris van Istendael

Kris Van Istendael has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several industries.

Kris began their career in 1994 as the European Technical Services & Regulatory Affairs Manager at Marquette Electronics, Inc. Kris then worked at Nellcor Puritan Bennett, Europe as the European Quality Assurance Manager from 1996 to 1998.

From 1998 to 2000, Kris served as the EMEA Quality Assurance Manager and later as the European Marketing Manager Services and Support at Mallinckrodt Europe, BV. Kris then moved on to Tyco Healthcare Europe, where they held the position of Director of Technical Services and Support for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region from 2000 to 2002.

From 2002 to 2006, Kris worked as the Technical Services Manager at Fresenius Medical Care, Belgium N.V. S.A. Kris then joined TomoTherapy Inc. as the Director of Customer Service, EMEA, where they successfully implemented various operational improvements and cost reduction measures.

In 2011, Kris joined Accuray as the Director of Business Operations & Distributor Management for EIMEA. Kris later served as the Senior Director of Distributor Operations & Revenue Management for both EIMEA and AIS, where they achieved significant revenue growth and implemented various revenue management processes.

Kris also has experience as a Business Consultant in the healthcare sector at Möbius Business Redesign. Kris then briefly worked as the Owner of KVI Consulting before joining Sun Nuclear Corporation as Director of Service, EMEA and later as the Director of Global Service and Support Operations.

Throughout their career, Kris has demonstrated a strong focus on customer service, operational excellence, and revenue management. Kris has successfully led teams, implemented process improvements, and achieved significant results in various organizations.

Kris Van Istendael completed their education in Medical Devices Engineering in 1985. Kris pursued this field of study without attaining a specific degree. Additionally, they attended Groep T - Internationale Hogeschool Leuven for Industrial Electronics, but the duration of their attendance is unknown. In terms of additional certifications, Kris Van Istendael acquired the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from Accuray in June 2015.
