Thomas Jose Pallithanam

Thomas Jose Pallithanam has over 19 years of work experience in finance and management roles. Thomas Jose is currently working as the Head of Business Finance and Tender Management at SUN PHARMA since May 2022. Previously, Thomas worked at Generali from March 2017 to April 2022 as the Senior Vice President of Finance, where they were responsible for financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Prior to that, they held the position of Vice President of Finance at Max Life Insurance Company Limited from April 2010 to March 2017. Thomas also has experience working at ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Limited as a Senior Manager from July 2007 to April 2010, where they played a key role in establishing cost monitoring processes and optimizing finance operations. Thomas Jose also worked at Bharti Airtel Limited as a Senior Manager from February 2006 to July 2007, where they managed financial reporting and worked on working capital management. Thomas started their career at ICICI Bank as a Manager in the retail asset segment from February 2003 to February 2006, where they were responsible for financial reporting, audit coordination, and process control implementation. Throughout their career, Thomas has demonstrated expertise in financial management, regulatory compliance, business planning, and optimization of finance operations.

Thomas Jose Pallithanam completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Physics Major from the University of Calicut in 1998. Thomas Jose then pursued further education and obtained a Chartered Accountant degree from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a Cost and Management Accountant degree from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, both in 2001. Thomas Jose also completed a Master's in Financial Management from Pondicherry University in the same year.
