Jess Cummings

Jess Cummings serves as the Associate Director of Land Origination and Siting Manager at Sun Tribe since March 2020, leading the greenfield siting process and managing geospatial activities for site acquisition. Previously, Jess held the role of Development Engineer at Sun Tribe, focusing on siting analysis and interconnection processes. Prior experience includes positions as Senior Solar Analyst, Senior GIS Analyst, and GIS Analyst at Apex Clean Energy, where Jess supported solar energy development and developed GIS automation tools. Additional roles include GIS Technician for the City of Charlottesville and GIS Intern positions at F&W Forestry Services and the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation. Jess holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from the University of Virginia.
