Garth Swinburn

Vice President of Business Development at Sun World Grapes

Garth Swinburn has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Garth started their career at Scholefield Robinson Mildura Pty Ltd in 1998, where they served as the Managing Director and Principal Consultant until June 2011. In June 2011, they joined Sun World International as the Regional Licensing Manager Australasia, a role they held until April 2016. Garth then moved up to become the Vice President Licensing at Sun World International from April 2016 to January 2023. Currently, they are serving as the Vice President of Business Development at Sun World International.

Garth Swinburn has a diverse education history. Garth attended Auckland Grammar School from 1971 to 1975 and completed their secondary education there. In 1980, they pursued a Bachelor of Horticulture at Lincoln University in New Zealand, which they completed in 1981. Swinburn then went on to obtain a Post Grad Dip in Ag Economics from the University of New England in Australia, where they studied from 1990 to 1992. Lastly, they pursued a higher level of education by obtaining a Master of Agribusiness from The University of Queensland between 2009 and 2011.
