Marco Merida

Marco Merida has a strong background in finance and accounting, with experience spanning over 20 years. Marco began their career at KPMG, where they worked as a Senior Associate, specializing in financial statement audits and SEC reporting. After three years, they joined Avery Dennison as a Senior Financial Analyst, responsible for preparing management reports and conducting cost reduction analyses. In 2004, they joined ACCO Engineered Systems as an Accounting Supervisor, where they oversaw the monthly close process and financial reporting. Marco later served as the Assistant Controller and Financial Controller, managing teams and ensuring compliance with reporting requirements. In their most recent role at Sunbelt Controls, they held the position of Senior Director of Business Operations, Corporate Secretary, and Treasurer, collaborating with executive leadership to establish and implement strategic goals. Marco has demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, compliance, and team management throughout their career.

Marco Merida attended Pasadena City College from 1994 to 1999, where they studied accounting. Marco then went on to the University of Southern California from 1999 to 2001, earning a BS degree in accounting.
