Michael McLellan, MBA, PMP

Michael McLellan has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Most recently, they held the position of Commercial Project Manager at SunBug Solar since September 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Residential Sales Representative at Vision Solar LLC from February 2020 to July 2020. In 2019, they served as Director, Field Services at Cubic Transportation Systems, where they led the installation effort for the MBTA AFC 2.0 technology upgrade in the Boston Market.

From 2009 to 2019, Michael McLellan was the CEO of Transmit PM, a wireless deployment partner of various major telecommunication companies in the Southeast United States. Michael was responsible for all business activities, managing P&L, financial functions, business development, operations, and market platform programming.

Before joining Transmit PM, they served as General Manager, Northeast at Telecom Procurement Services, where they led operations in the Northeast region of the U.S., managing P&L, forecasting, budget, business development, operations, and program execution.

In 2007, they worked as a Project Manager at Sprint Xohm 4G, where they managed the site acquisition, construction, integration, and deployment of 4G WiMax technology. Michael also re-architected and streamlined a dysfunctional project management information system.

From 2002 to 2007, Michael McLellan held various roles at General Dynamics Wireless Services, Public Safety division. As a Sr. Program Manager, they managed the Rescue 21 program, overseeing P&L, budgeting, contract negotiations, customer relationship management, and team management. Michael also served as a Sr. Program Manager for Network Services, providing project management and business process development consulting services.

In 2001, they worked as a Program Manager for Marketing & Business Development at General Dynamics, where they were responsible for technical program and project management for wireless broadband technologies.

Michael McLellan, MBA, PMP has a strong educational background in business and project management. Michael began their education at Northeastern University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus on Marketing. After completing their undergraduate studies in 1994, Michael went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Suffolk University - Sawyer Business School. During their time at Suffolk University, they specialized in International Business, further deepening their knowledge and skills in the field.

In 2003, Michael sought to expand their expertise in project management and enrolled in a Masters Certification program at Boston University. This program, focused specifically on Project Management, provided him with valuable insights and tools to effectively plan, execute, and control projects.
