Stephen (Steve) Vaughn

Stephen (Steve) Vaughn has extensive experience in human resources, with their most recent role being as a Human Resources Generalist at Suncoast Center, Inc. since April 2023. Prior to this, they owned and worked as a consultant at VAUGHN CONSULTING HR SOLUTIONS, LLC starting from May 2021.

From 2014 to 2021, Stephen served as a Human Resources Officer for Broward County Government. In 2014, they briefly worked as a Customer Service Representative at GE Captial.

Stephen held various human resources positions earlier in their career, including Director of Human Resources at Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools from 2004 to 2013, and Senior Human Resources Specialist at Kansas City, Missouri School District from 2003 to 2004. Stephen (Steve) also served as the Director of Human Resources/Operations at Topaz 3 from 2000 to 2002.

Before this, Stephen worked as a Sr. Employee Relations Specialist at Sprint PCS from 1997 to 2000, and as an HR Specialist at NAIC from 1994 to 1997. Stephen (Steve) began their career as a Human Resources Generalist at Trans World Airlines from June 1984 to August 1993.

Stephen (Steve) Vaughn began their education in 1971 at Eastern College, where they pursued a field of study in music education. Stephen (Steve) remained at Eastern College until 1972 before continuing their education at Wilmington University. From 1972 to 1975, Steve completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree at Wilmington University, specializing in music education.
