Jeff Kunberger

Director Service Center Operations at Suncoast Credit Union

Jeff Kunberger, CUDE has a wide range of work experience in the financial industry. Jeff started their career at The R. A. Siegel Company as a Network Administrator, where they were responsible for maintaining the company's computer and IT applications. Jeff then moved on to the North Carolina Licensing Board for General Contractors, where they worked as an Assistant Complaints Administrator.

Afterwards, Jeff joined State Employees' Credit Union and held various positions. Jeff served as a Loan Processor and Loan Officer in the Call Center, where they reviewed loan applications and provided lending recommendations. Jeff also managed the online car buying service and assisted members with questions regarding loan accounts and lending products. Later, they worked as an Internet Specialist for Electronic Services, where they led the Multi-Factor Authentication website compliance project.

In 2007, Jeff joined Suncoast Credit Union, where they held multiple roles. Jeff initially worked as a Member Financial Counselor, processing account and loan applications while counseling and advising members on financial decisions. Jeff then became a Service Center Manager, overseeing day-to-day operations and providing financial education for students in local schools. Jeff was later promoted to Senior Service Center Manager, responsible for all operations and supervision of branch employees.

Currently, Jeff serves as the Director of Service Center Operations at Suncoast Credit Union. In this role, they are responsible for the overall success of 8 service centers, including strategic objectives, business development, and fostering a member-centric culture. Jeff also assists the Vice President with planning, development, and execution of the organization's set strategy.

Jeff Kunberger obtained their BS in Management from Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business from 1995 to 2000. Jeff also completed a Management Training Series at Rockhurst University from 2009 to 2010. Additionally, they hold a certification as a Mortgage Loan Originator from NMLS, License # 617579, obtained in 2011. Furthermore, they are a Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE) certified by the National Credit Union Foundation.
