Karen Koundourakis

Karen Koundourakis is the Senior Vice President of Member Experience at Suncoast Credit Union. Karen has been with Suncoast for 10 years, and in their current role, they are responsible for the credit union's 250 seat Member Care and Lending Production Centers, their Interactive Teller Machine (ITM) Teams, their Deposit Engagement Team, Deposit Operations, Debit Card Strategy Team, their Sales Training Team and their Communications and Design Team. Prior to their current role, Karen served as the Vice President of Member Engagement, where they were responsible for four departments including the Member Loyalty Team, Internal Support Team, Design and Communication Team, and Lending Education Advocate Development Program (LEAD). In this role, they were responsible for building the new Member Experience Department which included creating a new Net Promoter Score program to focus on exceeding member expectations, increasing member loyalty and helping to grow Suncoast Credit Union. Karen also served as the PMO Project Manager, where they were responsible for managing 117 projects ensuring success for critical projects impacting a broad spectrum of member experience initiatives and achieving critical success goals. Some of the notable projects they managed include the new Loan Origination System and new Mortgage Servicing Platform. Prior to joining Suncoast Credit Union, Karen served as the Member Care Manager at GTE Federal Credit Union and the Consumer and Commercial Sales Director at Bay Gulf Federal Credit Union.

Karen Koundourakis has a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from The University of Georgia and is certified in Net Promoter.
