Chun Choi has extensive experience in computational modeling, engineering design, and technology development in the energy sector. Currently serving as Manager of Computational Modeling and Oven Machinery at SunCoke Energy since June 2011, Chun oversees engineering projects, develops operational roadmaps, and manages the design and commissioning of new machinery. Prior roles include Oven Design and Technology Specialist at SunCoke Energy, where achievements included leading technology improvements and enhancing operational efficiency, as well as securing multiple patents. Previously, Chun was a Principal Engineer at Gas Technology Institute, specializing in advanced combustion technology and gasification processes. Chun also held research positions at Princeton University and the University of Illinois, earning a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on combustion science.
