Conor Poutney

Conor Poutney has extensive experience in the oil and gas sector, currently serving as Vice President of the Sarnia Refinery at Suncor since May 2005. Over the years, Conor has held various leadership roles, including Vice President of Pandemic Response and Workforce Transition, Vice President of Downstream Strategy, Integration, and Development, and General Manager for multiple divisions such as Product Supply and Supply Chain Management. A notable achievement includes leading a cross-functional team to develop the Haul Truck strategy for Suncor's Oil Sands Mining Operations. Prior to Suncor, Conor worked as a Plant Engineer at H.C. Starck. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from McMaster University and advanced executive programs from IMD and Harvard Business School.
