Paul Adema

Paul Adema is an experienced executive in the oil and gas sector, currently serving as the Vice President of Downstream Operations & Logistics at Suncor since October 2009. In this role, Paul leads a team responsible for the operation of fuel distribution networks, transportation activities, and various joint ventures. Prior to Suncor, Paul worked at Petro-Canada from June 1998 to October 2009, holding multiple managerial positions, including General Manager of Business Process Transformation and Director of Maintenance at the Edmonton Refinery. Earlier in their career, Paul gained experience as a co-op student at Canadian Occidental Petroleum and Chevron. Paul holds an M.B.A. from the University of Alberta, earned between 2004 and 2007, and a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution, completed between 1993 and 1998.
