Alena MacKie

Alena Mackie is a seasoned professional in human resources and talent management with extensive experience leading strategic initiatives at major organizations. Currently serving as Head of Reward, Performance & Talent Acquisition at Suncorp Group, Alena oversees the reward, performance, and talent acquisition for a workforce exceeding 10,000 employees. Earlier roles at Suncorp included leading the Reward, Performance and Executive Governance team and serving as Lead People & Culture Business Partner for the Commercial & Personal Injury Insurance sector. Prior to Suncorp, Alena contributed to Caltex Australia as Project Manager for Franchise Governance and Head of Capability, Performance and Reward. Alena's career began at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where a 12-year tenure culminated in the position of Director in People Consulting, advising ASX 100 companies on remuneration and performance issues. Alena was also selected for a prestigious leadership development program at PwC in Washington DC and holds an education credential from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
