Dan Carney

Dan Carney has over a decade of work experience, with their most recent role being an Engineering Manager, Salesforce at Sundae since July 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Salesforce Administrator at Sundae from March 2020 to July 2021. From 2009 to 2020, Dan worked at The Pachamama Alliance where they held various roles, including Fundraising Manager and Database Administrator. In this role, they were responsible for managing the organization's Salesforce instance, user management and training, application lifecycle/release management, configuration, automation, reports and dashboards, project management, communication skills, and proficiency in 3rd party apps such as Geopointe. Before that, Dan worked as a Development Coordinator and Development Assistant at The Pachamama Alliance. Dan also has experience as a Peer Adviser in the Center for International Education at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee from 2007 to 2009.

Dan Carney attended the Nucamp Coding Bootcamp in 2023, where they obtained a certification in Back End, SQL, and DevOps. Prior to that, they attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee from 2004 to 2009, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish, International Business, and Economics. In 2006-2007, Dan briefly studied at Tecnológico de Monterrey. Additionally, they received various certifications from Salesforce, including Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I in June 2021, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder Certification in May 2019, Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator (SCAA) in February 2019, and Salesforce.com Certified Administrator in July 2014.
