Michelle Anderson

Michelle Anderson has over 30 years of work experience in finance and accounting. Michelle began their career as a Controller at Planet Bluegrass in 1989 and worked there for 10 years. Michelle then worked as a Staff Accountant at Powdr Corp, a Corporate Accountant at ASC Group, and an Accounting Manager at Surefoot. In 2003, they joined Aspen Springs Ranch Corporation as a Controller before transitioning to the Sundance Institute in 2006. At the Sundance Institute, Michelle held various roles including Controller, Director of Finance, Director of Finance and Principal Accounting Officer, and currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer. Throughout their career, Michelle has demonstrated strong financial leadership, overseeing financial processes, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving fiscal planning and tracking of revenue and expenses. Michelle has also played a key role in developing financial reports, policies, and procedures, and has successfully managed the finance function for large-scale events.

Michelle Anderson obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting from the University of Colorado Boulder in the years 1992-1997. Michelle then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business from Westminster University during the years 2000-2002. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the AICPA in the year 2003.
