VP of Digital at Sunday Riley

Kate Danilova has a diverse work experience in the media and beauty industry. Kate started their career in 2006, working as a Journalist, Editorial Assistant, and Stylist for various publications. Kate then joined InStyle as a Living Editor, where they successfully expanded the Lifestyle section and organized interior photo shoots. Kate later worked for Condé Nast Russia, where they held several roles, including Acting Editor-in-Chief, Beauty Director, and Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Allure magazine. During their time at Condé Nast, they showcased exceptional leadership skills, managed teams, and produced compelling cover concepts and stories. Kate also worked as a Beauty Editor for Vogue and Brides, assuming additional responsibilities during a maternity leave. Kate then worked as a freelance Beauty & Lifestyle Journalist and Brand Consultant before joining Sunday Riley as an Editorial Director. Kate successfully launched a digital editorial platform called Sunday Edit. Following this role, they became the Senior Director of Digital Content and Strategy, where they oversaw organic social media channels and provided guidance to internal partners. Most recently, Kate worked as the VP of Digital at Sunday Riley, serving as a liaison and primary point of contact within the eCommerce organization. Kate developed a best-in-class customer experience and provided business insights and performance reviews for senior leadership.

Kate Danilova completed their Master's degree in Journalism, Editorial and Publishing Division at Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) from 2004 to 2009. In 2017, they participated in the Communication Skills Program at Rice University. Later, in 2020, they attended Rice University again for a program focused on Communications and Leadership for Project Managers. Additionally, Kate obtained certifications in Digital Marketing from The Business of Fashion in April 2020 and FIT Beauty Industry Essentials from Fashion Institute of Technology and Yellowbrick Beauty Industry Essentials in March 2020.
