Rajarshi Chakraborty

Rajarshi Chakraborty's work experience spans across various industries, starting with research roles at the University of Texas at Arlington and University of Rochester, followed by internships at Apple working in the Flat Panel Display Engineering and Emerging Display teams. Rajarshi then worked as an OLED Photophysicist at Molecular Glasses Inc and as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Carnegie Mellon University, where they studied single molecule blinking behavior of TADF molecules for electroluminescence applications. Later they worked at Orthogonal Inc as a Chief Technology Officer, leading efforts in OLED devices for AR/VR applications. Rajarshi was also an OLED Engineer there, where they collaborated with process engineers and chemists to improve product performance. Rajarshi co-founded and worked as the Chief Strategy Advisor at Vivre Travel Solutions Pvt Ltd. Currently, they are expected to work as an Optical Engineering Manager at SunDensity Inc in 2023.

Rajarshi Chakraborty holds a postgraduate degree in Physical Chemistry obtained from Carnegie Mellon University, which lasted from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, they earned their PhD degree in Materials Science/ Photophysics from the University of Rochester, which took place from 2011 to 2017. Chakraborty also holds an MS degree in Material Science and Engineering, which they received from The University of Texas at Arlington between 2008 and 2010. In addition, Chakraborty has completed several certifications in various fields, including Agile Project Management, Project Management, Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification, Negotiations, Camera and Imaging, Statistical Thinking for Industrial Problem Solving, and Process Improvement Foundations. These certifications were obtained from institutions such as Google, LinkedIn, Columbia University in the City of New York, and JMP through Coursera between 2020 and 2023.
