Wolfgang Brettner

Wolfgang Brettner, MMM, CD, is an experienced professional in health and safety management, currently serving as Manager HSS for Cannabis Operations at SNDL Inc. since June 2023. Prior to this role, Brettner held the position of Health And Safety Manager at VEXSL from March 2022 to May 2023 and served in various health and safety capacities at Prostar Energy from January 2015 to March 2022. A member of the Canadian Armed Forces from 2004 to 2021, Brettner gained experience in operations, training, and infantry. Earlier career highlights include serving as Health and Safety Advisor and Branch Manager at Tervita from March 2012 to January 2015. Educational qualifications include a Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety from the University of Alberta, as well as high school diplomas from Canada and Austria, including proficiency in the German language.
