Douglas Reese

Douglas Reese has over 18 years of experience in accounting and finance. Douglas most recently worked at Sunflower Bank, N.A. as the Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer. Prior to that, they served as a Director at ORIX Corporation USA, overseeing technical accounting, internal control, and general accounting functions. Douglas also worked as a Director at PwC, where they were responsible for audits of SEC registrants and led the implementation of the CECL standard. Douglas previously held the position of Vice President - Global Financial Control at Northern Trust, where they were a subject matter expert in SOX program governance and led the overhaul of the global SOX compliance program. Douglas began their career at PwC as a Manager.

Douglas Reese holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) and a Master of Accountancy Science (M.A.S.) in Accounting from Northern Illinois University. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have obtained certifications in Digital Acumen from PwC in April 2019, and in Human-Centered Design from PwC in June 2020. Furthermore, Douglas is a Certified Public Accountant registered in the states of Illinois and Texas, although the specific date of obtaining this certification is unknown.
