Following this, they completed their Residency in Family Medicine at the Lincoln Family Medicine Residency Program from 1988 to 1991. Prior to medical school, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 1979 to 1983, with a major in English Language and Literature, Chemistry, and French.

In terms of additional certifications, Rebecca Rezaei M.D. is a Board-Certified physician by The American Board of Family Medicine, a designation they achieved in July 1991.
