Jeremy Goertz has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Jeremy started their career as the Co-Founder and CEO of Zisht Company in 2004. In 2006, they transitioned to the role of an Industrial Engineer and Shipping/Receiving Supervisor at Kellogg Company. In 2007, they worked as a Strategy and Financial Analyst to the Chief Executive Officer and Vice President of Finance at General Motors. Later that year, they became a Financial Analyst responsible for GMAC, where they conducted auditing, measurement, and analysis of contractual obligations. Jeremy also designed forecasting techniques and models to identify downside risks and performed detailed analysis to justify payments.

In 2008, Jeremy joined Morrison Hershfield as a Renewable Energy Project Manager and Business Development professional. Jeremy then moved to Environmental Electric Company in 2009, where they served as the VP of Business Development. From 2010 to 2013, they worked at Stantec as the Director of Renewable Energy Business Development, focusing on engineering, project management, and permitting assistance for renewable energy projects.

In 2013, Jeremy took on the role of Vice President at Saturn Power Inc., where they managed the development, construction, and engineering of multiple solar and wind projects across Canada. Additionally, they provided ongoing maintenance and operations support for utility-scale wind farms and solar assets. Jeremy also worked on future development support for global regions and strategy development for deploying development and construction teams.

Most recently, Jeremy is the Chief Executive Officer of SunGrid - The Energy Revolution, a position they have held since 2017. Overall, Jeremy's work experience shows a strong background in renewable energy, project management, business development, and strategic analysis.

Jeremy Goertz completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Systems & Computing at the University of Guelph from 1999 to 2003. Jeremy then pursued further education at the University of Waterloo, earning a Master of Management Sciences degree in Engineering Management Science from 2005 to 2008. Additionally, Jeremy attended the Ivey Business School at Western University for their Master of Business Administration degree from 2006 to 2007.
