Chris Freeman Am

Chris Freeman AM, BCom, FAICD, FFin, FDIA, serves as a Non-Executive Director at Sunland Group, Inc. since 2016 and has been an Urban Futures Board Director for Brisbane City Council since 2013. Freeman’s extensive experience includes a tenure as a Non-Executive Director at Brisbane Airport Corporation from 2014 to September 2024 and leadership roles such as Chair of the Queensland Symphony Orchestra (2018-2022) and Chair of the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) (2014-2018). Freeman held various positions within Tennis Australia from 2007 to 2018, including Non-Executive Director, Vice President, and Chair, and is a Life Member of the organization. Additional roles include serving as a Non-Executive Director on the Australian Government’s Major Performing Arts Board (2008-2014), Chair of Brisbane Festival (2007-2014), Executive Chair and CEO at Mirvac (1996-2009), and Head of Business Banking at Queensland Industry Development Corporation (1991-1996). Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Commerce from The University of Queensland and participation in programs at INSEAD, University of Hawaii at Manoa, and The Australian Administrative Staff College.
