Rodney Yoder

Rodney Yoder is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Sunlight Financial. Rodney has over 30 years of experience in finance and has held various positions at MBNA America Bank, Swift Financial, and Barclaycard.

Yoder started their career at MBNA America Bank in 1991 as a financial analyst in the corporate finance department before being promoted to Planning Manager for Consumer Lending. Rodney eventually became the Divisional CFO for Merchant Acquiring and Practice Solutions. In 2006, MBNA was acquired by Bank of America and Yoder took on the role of Senior Finance/Strategy Manager for Card Services Customer Marketing.

In 2007, Yoder left Bank of America to join Swift Financial as their Finance Executive and Treasurer. Rodney spent three years there before moving on to Barclaycard in 2010 where they served as Director of Financial Analysis and Strategy. Yoder was with Barclaycard for 12 years before joining Sunlight Financial as their CFO in April of 2022.

Rodney Yoder has a MBA and BS in finance from the Alfred Lerner College of Business & Economics at University of Delaware.

They are on a team with Michael Watkins - Head of Home Improvement, Lisa Burns - HR Director, and Christopher Lis - CISO. Rodney Yoder reports to Matt Potere, CEO.
