Ioannis Karagiannis

Ioannis Karagiannis is a seasoned professional in the fields of engineering and project management, currently serving as the Technical Project Management Lead at Sunlight Group Energy Storage Systems since December 2023. Prior experience includes a nearly nine-year tenure at Bentley Motors Ltd, holding positions as Technical Manager for Powertrain NVH and Design Analysis within Whole Vehicle Engineering, where Ioannis was responsible for delivering key NVH attributes and developing CAE methods. Earlier experience at AVL involved dynamic analysis and simulation of powertrain components, while a role at Loughborough University encompassed research in engine dynamics and tribology. Educational qualifications include an Executive MBA from the University of Warwick and a Ph.D. in Dynamics/Tribology from Loughborough University, complemented by a Mechanical Engineering diploma from the National Technical University of Athens.
