McKenzie Winslow

McKenzie Winslow has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. McKenzie is currently the Director of Quality and EHS at Sunlight Group Energy Storage Systems, a position they have held since March 2022. Prior to this role, McKenzie served as the EHS and Quality Manager at the same company from July 2021 to March 2022, and as the Environment, Health and Safety Manager from May 2021 to July 2021. Before joining Sunlight Group, McKenzie worked as an Environmental Health and Safety Analyst at TE Connectivity from July 2019 to May 2021. Prior to that, they were a Water Quality Specialist at the City of Greensboro from April 2015 to July 2019. McKenzie also has experience as a Research Technician II at Duke Human Vaccine Institute from August 2012 to April 2015. McKenzie started their career as a Graduate Student Researcher and Graduate Teaching Assistant at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) from August 2010 to December 2013 and from August 2010 to July 2012, respectively. McKenzie also gained experience as a Water Resources Intern at Piedmont Triad Regional Council from May 2009 to January 2010, and as an Environmental Specialist Student Intern at the Office of Waste Reduction and Recycling at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro from August 2008 to May 2009.

McKenzie Winslow obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology/Chemistry from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro in the years 2005 to 2009. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biology/Environmental Biology from the same institution from 2010 to 2013. Additionally, McKenzie has obtained various certifications including DOT Ground Shipper from Lion Technology Inc., ISO 14001:2015 Lead Auditor Certified from Omnex Inc, OSHA 10hr and 30hr from North Carolina State University, RCRA Hazardous Waste Training from Lion Technology Inc., and Surface Water Identification Certification from North Carolina State University.
